valentine's day wasn't as bad as everyone bashed it to be just cause kris isn't home. but you know what? he texted me and i woke up to a love message and lots of sweet nothings so i'm happy! and he also bought me a brand new pillow top mattress but he just doesn't know it yet lol.. SO COMFY!! i had a full frame here at my mom's but because of the time constraints i didn't have time to get a new mattress for it so i used a twin instead and flushed the gap with body pillows but it wasn't bad. however, i do miss rolling around in bed and i went ahead and looked at sear's outlet since i had the gift cards from the heroes at home gift registry from christmas left over and i figured why not. they're also the cheapest place i found for just a mattress! so i searched and i came upon a serta pillowtop medium firm mattress that's reconditioned. and it turned out to be just a floor model for 2wks before it got replaced with another one! because of that a $5oo mattress was mine for $63! it was still packaged and has a 5yr warranty on it! so why not? hehe now i have a mattress that fits right and i know when kris comes home for leave with the baby i'd need it anyways and i hate rushing at the last minute. i know he'll love a nice warm bed to lay in instead of a twin with body pillows hahaha

apparently after this weekend everyone is going to hell lol.. my family went out to dimsum for my cousins' bday and she tried to be like me and told her mom she's pregnant and her mom said 'i'll kill you' our other aunt said 'jesus teaches you to not kill people...' and my cousin said 'yeah it's a sin, but if you do kill me, we'll both go to hell together' my aunt's face was 'i'll kill you bitch' hahahaha and after i've been out of the house this entire weekend my mom made a comment to me about how it makes me look bad since i'm married. i told her that 'jesus teaches people you shouldn't gossip and to be a model citizen... be careful or you'll go to hell' she says 'i'm gonna kill you' and i tell her 'he's listening...' hahahah it hasn't gotten old yet :P

i’ve been walking a lot in hopes to make my labor easier but what i’ve been mistaking for cramps turned out to be the early signs of contractions and i need to back off my walking before i pop nicholas out at 24wks or put myself on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. pretty scary and so i’m backing off. and walking doesn’t reduce labor pains, but it helps you to better endure labor. woot woot for high risk. blergh.

found a new church in my area and i’m gonna try on sunday to see if they’re a fit for me

hopefully if they are, i can get my confirmation going

then i can get info on how to get baby nicholas baptized too! pretty excited and i can’t wait :D

gotta read the estate planning book, and draft my will worksheet. gonna be lots. of. fun.

something clicked and i grew a love for red velvet that over rides my common sense when i'm craving it this bad. i went to every single store i could think of in town to see if they would have it and an hour and countless stores later, i finally a red velvet roll cake and red velvet cupcakes at the last and final store i went to!! i was soooo happy i did a happy dance lol.. i got the cupcakes plus some chocolate truffle brownies. the cashier looked at me like i was crazy but f them. i really don't care cause i've wanted red velvet for soooo long and finally the craving hit me hard enough that i went out this late to find some. next on my list is probably a fat juicy in n out burger with animal style fries with EXTRA sauce. i'm such a fatty but i haven't eaten like this in soooo long.. i'm sure a little indulgence is satisfying enough :) the baby will be here in less than 4 months (as determined by my due date) but i would love for him to come earlier especially if kris gets home with AP and gets to me earlier. cause by that time i'll be too big to wanna be pregnant any longer and i know kris is dying to meet his son already.

i watched the lost valentine tonight and it was so good but a definite tear jerker!

The story follows the characters of a journalist, Susan Allison (Hewitt) working on a profile of a woman, Caroline Thomas (White) whose husband naval aviator Lt. Neil Thomas was declared MIA during World War II. Mrs. Thomas finds silence for sixty-six years from the Department of the Navy. Allison with the help of a United States Senator (she did an unrelated story on the senator) who puts pressure on the Navy, who locates the family of the gunner on Thomas' airplane. The now deceased Billings' son tells of the crash and of Morang, a Filipino guerilla who rescued the wounded naval aviators. Andrew Hawthorne goes to the Phillipines and sets up a teleconference for the aged Caroline and elderly Morang. The story of the fate of Lt. Thomas, Morang says he was badly wounded, but wanted his more seriously injured gunner, Billings to get medical aide. When Thomas had recovered, deep behind Japanese lines, he joins the Filipino Guerillas. During a patrol, Lt. Thomas is killed by a Japanese sniper. Morang knows the location of the burial site of Lt. Thomas. The US Navy goes to the 1944 grave site and returns the remains and effects to the United States. Caroline is given Neil's wallet and dogtags. For Neil's bravery and courage, Caroline is given his Navy Cross, Silver Star and Purple Heart. Lt. Thomas is buried by the US Navy, with full military honors.

it's an incredible love story and i love it! not to mention it betty white and jennifer love hewitt stars in it and i'm fan of both! it's such a sad yet romantic movie. it's a 2 in one love story and you never lose track of one story to follow the other. it was so well thought out and written. absolutely terrific!

i went in and got my 23wk 4d ultrasound done and my oh my does nicholas look more like kris lol maybe he'll look like kris but have my featues.. who knows right? anyways here's a sneak at our bebe :D
